I was fortunate to attend two terrific events in March – the Lake Nona Impact Forum and the Abundance360 conference. They both offered inspiring content and conversations about technology, health, and longevity, with lots of opportunities for growth. I’m so glad I had the chance to be part of it.

At the Lake Nona Impact Forum, the focus on technology advancements in prevention was eye-opening. Our ability to diagnose and treat a symptomatic disease early is transforming how healthcare is delivered. When Doris Taylor and I met, she said she was making spare hearts for all of us, I was in awe of the science that is coming fast.

At the Abundance360 conference, the deep dive into longevity, age reversal, health, and immunity painted the picture of where we are going. The ability to live well past our current life expectancy into the 120+ range is within reach. With regenerative medicine and stem cell therapies, advancements in brain health, prevention of neurodegenerative diseases, and advanced diagnostics iterated that if nothing catastrophic happens to us in the next 5-10 years, we all should live much longer.

Key Takeaways

One of the key takeaways from both conferences was the central role that technology will play in driving abundance in productivity. At the Abundance360 conference, Artificial intelligence was a key topic, with discussions on how it can be leveraged by each of us to be more productive, more successful, and ultimately have a more significant impact to the world. Technology is also on the front lines of improving healthcare outcomes and driving access worldwide.

I was particularly impressed by the work being done by companies like Fountain Life and Fountain Health Insurance to improve access to healthcare and promote proactive health. On the other side of the coin, there were discussions on the challenges that technology acceleration will create, such as job losses and the need for society to adapt to rapid change. Both conferences emphasized the importance of finding solutions to these challenges in order to ensure a positive future for all.

All in all, the conferences left me with a renewed sense of hope for the future and a sense of urgency to make an impact and dive into technology and longevity solutions. The advancements we are making today have the potential to transform access to healthcare and improve the quality of life for people all over the world. I left both events feeling inspired and motivated to do my part in making a positive impact on the world through leveraging technology for good.
