Richard Hurley is Managing Director at Seed Healthcare, a family office and venture investment platform focused on healthcare innovation. He leads engagement on direct and fund investments and manages capital partnerships, building connections across investors, entrepreneurs, and healthcare operators to drive growth and commercialization.

Before joining Seed, Richard led investor relations and capital formation at Hudson Sustainable Group, a Miami-based firm focused on private equity, credit, and venture building strategies in the sustainability sector. He played a pivotal role in developing the Hudson Sustainable Private Credit platform while sourcing LP capital and securing investments across Hudson’s many initiatives.

Prior to Hudson, Richard held the role of Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Hub71, the Mubadala-backed startup ecosystem in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Concurrently, he was Principal at Napatree Capital Advisors, where he provided fundraising, capital formation and relationship development solutions to growth-stage tech companies, venture funds, allocators, and accelerators. He also worked with Haven Green Capital Partners, a global, ESG-focused multi-boutique asset manager based in Dublin, Ireland.

Richard began his career in Global Sales & Distribution at Morgan Stanley Investment Management in New York, covering US institutional and intermediary clients across asset classes.

He holds an MBA from Trinity College Dublin and a BA from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He currently serves on the Advisory Committee for the New York Police & Fire Widows’ & Children’s Benefit Fund.
