Todd Perman is President and CEO of Seed Healthcare and General Partner of Seed Healthcare Fund.

For more than 34 years, Todd has operated at the intersection of healthcare, growth, and capital, helping companies navigate the complexity of the healthcare market while building scalable businesses that drive meaningful change.

An entrepreneur at heart, Todd founded and scaled a healthcare-focused platform dedicated to advancing and scaling healthcare innovation. Seed Healthcare brings the combination of strategy, commercialization, and capital to help companies accelerate growth and create long-term impact within one of the world’s most complex and fragmented industries.

Earlier in his career, Todd spent more than a decade at Stryker Corporation, where he developed a deep understanding of healthcare technology, clinical workflows, and the realities of healthcare delivery. After building his healthcare finance platform and exiting, he joined Cantor and Newmark, where he helped build and lead national healthcare platform and investment efforts, supporting operators, investors, and innovators across the healthcare ecosystem.

Throughout his career, Todd has built strong relationships with healthcare providers and industry leaders nationwide. His perspective continues to shape his work today, helping companies align innovation with the real-world needs of clinicians, providers, and patients.

Through Seed Healthcare, Todd invests in and advises disruptive healthcare companies on growth strategy, positioning, capital access, and commercial execution. He also leads the Seed Healthcare Fund, which focuses on backing technologies designed to improve outcomes, reduce costs, and shift healthcare toward earlier detection and more proactive care.

Todd currently serves on the boards of Persimmon, Nicolette, and Resilient Healthcare. He is widely recognized for helping leadership teams connect vision to execution and for building strategic relationships that drive commercial traction in healthcare.

Richard Hurley is Managing Director at Seed Healthcare, a family office and venture investment platform focused on healthcare innovation. He leads engagement on direct and fund investments and manages capital partnerships, building connections across investors, entrepreneurs, and healthcare operators to drive growth and commercialization.

Before joining Seed, Richard led investor relations and capital formation at Hudson Sustainable Group, a Miami-based firm focused on private equity, credit, and venture building strategies in the sustainability sector. He played a pivotal role in developing the Hudson Sustainable Private Credit platform while sourcing LP capital and securing investments across Hudson’s many initiatives.

Prior to Hudson, Richard held the role of Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Hub71, the Mubadala-backed startup ecosystem in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Concurrently, he was Principal at Napatree Capital Advisors, where he provided fundraising, capital formation and relationship development solutions to growth-stage tech companies, venture funds, allocators, and accelerators. He also worked with Haven Green Capital Partners, a global, ESG-focused multi-boutique asset manager based in Dublin, Ireland.

Richard began his career in Global Sales & Distribution at Morgan Stanley Investment Management in New York, covering US institutional and intermediary clients across asset classes.

He holds an MBA from Trinity College Dublin and a BA from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He currently serves on the Advisory Committee for the New York Police & Fire Widows’ & Children’s Benefit Fund.

Taylor Perman is a Senior Analyst at Seed Healthcare, where he focuses on identifying, evaluating, and supporting high-potential companies across the healthcare landscape.

He works closely with founders and management teams to assess market opportunities, sharpen strategic positioning, and help companies navigate the path to commercialization and growth. Taylor is particularly interested in businesses that can improve how care is delivered, paid for, and experienced.

Prior to Seed, he worked at TriGlobal Capital Partners as a fund-of-funds analyst, where he developed a broad perspective on manager selection, portfolio construction, and investment evaluation.

Melissa Gleeson is the Marketing Director for Seed Healthcare. Melissa creates, plans, and executes marketing initiatives for the team.

Working alongside executive leadership, business operations, data and analytics, financial, and clinical teams, Melissa generates and manages content including material preparation, digital marketing, lead generation, website development, event planning, and content curation.

Prior to her current role, Melissa worked for six years as the Marketing Manager for the Global Healthcare Services team at Newmark. GHS is one of the largest and most experienced healthcare real estate teams in the country, and on the team, Melissa managed materials such as BOVs, OMs, RFPs, as well as digital marketing efforts and public relations initiatives. Before that, Melissa worked for six years as a Marketing Associate for Stratus Property Group, a boutique commercial real estate firm based in Atlanta, GA. In this role, Melissa managed, listed, and sold commercial real estate properties, and directed company marketing efforts such as digital marketing, social media, and website management.

Melissa earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism in Advertising and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Georgia.
